About Me
Yes that's Dougal & Posy, the spots behind Sweet Spot and the inspiration for my logo. They don't actually work for the business though and are banished from baking on account of being dogs.
I’m Sheena, chief (and only) baker and cookie decorator at Sweet Spot Cookie Co.
After years working in tourism and business consulting, my creative side was bursting to get out so I followed my heart into the kitchen!
I fell in love with the freedom and creativity of royal icing – its beauty, versatility and simplicity – and have loved sharing my skills and passion with friends and family.
The more I’ve learned and experimented, the more excited I am to bring my creations to Cairns and beyond. Through months of dedication to recipe research and taste-testing – well someone had to do it – I’m happy to say that my cookies are as delicious as they are beautiful and all feature only premium ingredients and lip-smacking flavours.
And I won’t just be selling cookies, I’ll be sharing the love in regular Cookie Classes, where you’ll learn fun new skills to share with your own families and friends, and leave with a set of beautiful cookies and a spring in your step.
